Still cleaning out the camera from an amazing week of high pressure a week or so ago. This is a little trip down the Y-Not Couloir with Dylan Freed. We had bigger plans, but we both showed up a little too hung over to pull it off.

Crossing the stream is always fun, but a boot full of water wouldn’t be a good way to start the day.

Lucky for me Dylan was in better shape (or the fact that he’s 10 years younger) and was willing to re-break the filled in boot pack.

I really felt like a sad sack on the up. Luckily gravity is much friendlier on the way down. Dylan is part way down the upper bowl.

Here is the rappel from below. It’s a bit of a free hanger into a cool little cave.

The down climbing after the rap was the sketchy part.

Dylan working out one of the bare spots.

A nice ski down to the road from here.

I have some footage from an outing in the Y-not last year. I’ll put it together and post it soon. Crazy week of big fun lines.
