whippet retrival

During the rappel Darrell set his whippets down and forgot them. By the time he remembered, we were too far committed to the descent to retrieve them.
Darrell happy as can be with 2 brand new whippets in hand.
This is where they were accidentally abandoned.
I’ve felt a bit bad about this ever since it happened, so I thought I would go see if I could find the lost poles. I thought about seeing if Darrell wanted to join me, but he suffered enough and he’s training hard for an upcoming 100 mile endurance mt bike race. Good luck next week!
I thought it would be easier without snow, but not really the case.

I was very happy and surprised to see these guys sitting there all behaved like they had just been set there.
Now I get to use them as ransom to get Darrell to come back and successfully ski this son of a bitch!
